1 Chronicles - Chapter 22
In the previous chapter David met with the angel of the Lord, and now he says that the site of this meeting shall be where the temple will be built:
"Then David said, “This will be the location for the Temple of the Lord God and the place of the altar for Israel’s burnt offerings!”"
We read in 2 Chronicles 3 that this site is on Mount Moriah:
"So Solomon began to build the Temple of the Lord in Jerusalem on Mount Moriah, where the Lord had appeared to David, his father. The Temple was built on the threshing floor of Araunah the Jebusite, the site that David had selected."
And this location was where Abraham offered his son (in Genesis 22):
“Take your son, your only son—yes, Isaac, whom you love so much—and go to the land of Moriah. Go and sacrifice him as a burnt offering on one of the mountains, which I will show you.”
And this was also the location of the crucifixion of Jesus.
