1 Samuel - Chapter 9

The people have asked for a king, and have not sought God's will or timing.  Their king is to come from the Royal tribe of Judah  (both King David, and ultimately King Jesus); but the king they are now given is from the tribe of Benjamin.

Saul is introduced as a donkey herder, seeking his father's lost donkeys.  David will be introduced later as a shepherd, caring for his sheep - just like Jesus who is seen as the good shepherd.
