2 Samuel - Chapter 2

David asks God if he should return to Judah, and God says "yes".  David asks which city he should go to and God says "Hebron."  So David goes to Hebron and there he is anointed King.  Jesus is the descendent of King David - of the Royal line.  But Jesus is also our City of Refuge - the place we can flee to for protection.  And Hebron is one of the six Cities of Refuge.  David establishes himself in a City of Refuge - demonstrating that his protection comes from Jesus.
