Exodus - Chapter 39

We have seen the furnishings of the tabernacle, all speaking of Jesus.  Now we see the work on the priestly garments.  These were all made following the detailed instructions that God gave to Moses.  Each of the items speaks of Jesus.

We read of the Ephod which was made of gold, and of blue, purple and scarlet yarn, and of finely twisted linen.  They hammered out thin sheets of gold and cut strands to be worked into the blue, purple and scarlet yarn and fine linen - the work of a skilled craftsman.

Elaborate, delicate, skilled work to decorate a linen garment for the high priest to wear.

And the church - the bride of Jesus - will meet with Jesus at the wedding of the Lamb - described in Revelation 19.  And to prepare the bride fine linen, bright and clean was given to her to wear.  Fine linen stands for the righteous acts of the saints.
