Genesis - Chapter 48

Israel is nearing the end of his life, and Joseph brings his two sons to him for Israel to bless them.  The blessing is recorded in verses a5-16 and in this blessing we meet not only Jesus, but the whole trinity.  Israel says:

"May the God before whom my fathers Abraham and Isaac walked (God the father), the God who has been my shepherd all my life to this day (God the Holy Spirit), the Angel who has delivered me from all harm (God the Son) - may he bless these boys."
