Judges - Chapter 2

It is easy to find Jesus in Judges chapter 2, as it begins "The angel of the Lord went up from Gilgal to Bokim and said "I brought you up out of Egypt and led you into the land that I swore to give to your forefathers."

We have seen many occasions where Jesus has appeared an has been described as "the angel of the Lord".  On this occasion the person speaking says that he brought them up out of Egypt and led them into the promised land.  This is not an angel speaking for God - it is God (in the person of Jesus) claiming to have made the covenant with their forefathers, and who, himself, led them out of Egypt.
