Judges - Chapter 3

Jesus is the greatest Judge of all - in Revelation 19 he is described like this:

"Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war."

There are many judges in the book of Judges who also make war.  On of these in this chapter is Ehud.  When he comes to deliver the people he starts by saying "Follow me" (verse 28).

Similarly our great Judge begins the work of delivering the world by saying to those he will use "follow me". For example, in Matthew 4:

"And Jesus, walking by the Sea of Galilee, saw two brothers, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea; for they were fishermen. Then He said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.” They immediately left their nets and followed Him."
