Numbers - Chapter 6

Jesus makes an appearance in this chapter in the priestly blessing (sometimes called the Aaronic blessing, in verses 24 to 26.

This is how you are to bless the Israelites.  Say to them "The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face towards you and give you peace."

This three-fold blessing reflects the three persons of the Trinity.  God the Father will bless and keep them.  God the Son will make his face shine on them. (There is a record of Jesus face shining like the sun in Matthew 17). God the Holy Spirit is the giver of peace.
